Privacy Policy

Short answer. Ledger Find does not ask for your name, email, or account details. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and vendors may set a cookie when you click an affiliate link so your sign-up is credited to us. That is the extent of it.

What we collect

Ledger Find has no accounts, no login, and no forms. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details. The information involved in using this site is limited to standard web analytics described below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, what device and browser they use, and which outbound links are clicked. This relies on cookies and similar identifiers set by Google.

This data is aggregated. We use it to see which comparisons are useful and where the site needs improvement. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across the web with the official browser add-on.

Affiliate links and cookies

When you click a link to a software vendor, that vendor or its affiliate network may set a cookie in your browser identifying Ledger Find as the referrer. If you later sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These cookies belong to the vendor or network, operate under their privacy policies, and typically expire after a set number of days.

We track clicks on outbound links in our own analytics, including which platform was clicked and from which page. This measures which recommendations people act on. It does not tell us who you are or what you do on the vendor's site.

Cookies you can control

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works fully with cookies disabled; the only effect is that our analytics record less.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with third parties beyond the services named above: Google (analytics) and affiliate networks (referral credit), each operating under its own policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California, you may have rights to know, delete, or opt out of the sale of personal information. Because Ledger Find does not collect names, emails, or accounts, there is usually nothing identifiable to act on, but requests and questions are welcome at info@ledgertalkmedia.com. We honor Global Privacy Control signals to the extent they apply.

Changes

If our data practices change, this page will be updated and the date above revised. Material changes, such as adding an email list, will be reflected here before they take effect.
